Sport Ice Asia focuses on three major areas: Design, Manufacture, Sales and Support of Ice Resurfacing Machines and Equipment
Sport Ice was first established in 2004 in California to meet the market need for real ice resurfacing machine for small and non-traditional sized ice rinks. From our first model, we have grown our product offering to the current three models and have machines sized for 400 m^2, 1000 m^2 and 1800 m^2 size ice rinks. Our machines are used on every ice surface imaginable, from portable and temporary rinks, indoor and outdoor rinks training facilities, full sized NHL and Olympic rinks, skating paths, traveling ice shows and even the converted pool deck of a Las Vegas hotel, high above the Las Vegas strip.
At Sport Ice, we care about the health and safety of the skaters and the skating environment. That is why all of our machines are battery powered. We were the first ice resurfacing company to use lithium-ion batteries. We have a great engineering design, manufacturing, sales, training and service team, with more than 60 years combined experience in ice sports. Sport Ice principal people have supported and trained personnel at the 1994 Winter Olympic Games, Lillehammer, Norway; The 2002 Winter Olympic Games, Salt Lake City, USA; The 2006 Winter Olympic Games, Turin, Italy; The 2010 Winter Olympic Games, Vancouver Canada.
Sport Ice machines have been used at many high profile skating events, including the NHL Winter Classic and NHL Stadium Series games held in Detroit, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Washington D. C. Sport Ice machines have also been used at Winter Olympic venues at 2006 Torino and 2010 Vancouver
Sport Ice Asia manufactures dasher boards for all types of ice rinks, from portable and community rinks to NHL and Olympic size professional rinks. Sport Ice also offers all types ice rink support equipment including ice edgers, skating aids, rental skates, goal frames.
Sport Ice Asia also offers training in operations and maintenance of ice resurfacers as well as parts and service for all brands of ice resurfacing machines.
Ice Rink Design and Construction
Sport Ice and its business partners Century Star and Polar Bear have more than 30 ice rinks located in mainland China, Hong Kong (S. A. R. ), Taiwan and USA. Sport Ice Asia can design and build the complete ice rink, including the refrigeration system, ice floor, dasher boards, score boards. Sport Ice Asia can provide the entire ice rink project for you.
With Sport Ice Asia opening a factory in China in 2018, we have shown our commitment to the laea or "Designed in America, Built by China. " We have total control over our production process, from the sourcing of raw materials to the importing of specialize components and products needed to deliver world class performance. Sport Ice Asia has USA engineers working in China, to make sure that our products made in China meet the high standards our customers demand.
