Aideler® Thin Paste Waterproof & Insulation Backing System
Product IntroductionDesigned with a three-layer composite structure, the backing board utilizes environmentally friendly XPS extruded polystyrene board as the core material. The XPS board possesses high compressive strength, B1 fire resistance rating, corrosion resistance, and low thermal conductivity. A layer of fiberglass mesh is uniformly applied to the XPS board, followed by a coating of modified cement mortar on both the core material and the fiberglass mesh, ensuring a strong bond. By employing scientific formulations and manufacturing processes, a special composite board is produced, featuring excellent properties such as high compressive and flexural strength, waterproofing, corrosion resistance, low thermal conductivity, and strong adhesion. In terms of insulation options available in the market, there are two types: EPS and XPS. However, testing has shown that XPS provides better insulation performance and can achieve a lighter and thinner design compared to EPS.Eight main advantages:1. Lightweight and easy to install (12mm thickness, approximately 4.5kg/m²).
2. Provides sound insulation, creating a quiet living environment.
3. Offers insulation for energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. XPS extruded polystyrene board with a thickness of ≥15mm can achieve a sound insulation performance of ≥45 decibels.
4. Simple surface treatment, allowing for direct adhesive decoration.
5. Convenient for partition walls, with a 45mm thick board suitable for bathroom walls.
6. Resistant to mold and moisture, reducing bacteria growth in damp environments.
7. Waterproof, with 100% waterproof properties. High thermal resistance, low linear expansion, and low expansion ratio. The board has a closed-cell structure with a pore closure rate of over 99%, ensuring long-lasting and stable insulation without concerns of water leakage.
8. High strength, with a compressive strength ranging from 150Kpa to 700Kpa+.
9. High plasticity, exhibiting 35-50 times the toughness of plywood and allowing for flexible shaping.

Application Showcase of Light Steel Partition WallsPracticality of Light Steel Partition Walls
Structural steel adhesives and specially designed mechanical fixings are used to achieve a strong bond where light steel comes into contact with structural steel. This combination provides high adhesion strength and is considered the ideal companion for light steel structural buildings.
Application of Integrated Bathroom Systems
Flooring: The flooring system utilizes an elevated support structure, creating an elevated layer above the building floor. Pipes and utilities are laid between the elevated layers. A 40-50mm thin-set waterproof backing board is installed on the supporting joists. Specialized auxiliary materials such as waterproof fabric and waterproof membranes are used to ensure waterproofing in critical areas such as board joints, wall-floor connections, pipe roots, and floor drains. The finishing layer consists of 3-5mm thin-set floor tiles bonded with foam adhesive or tile adhesive. Partition Walls: For partition walls, the HSI prefabricated partition wall system can be used. The base layer is constructed with thin-set waterproof insulation backing boards, and the surface can be finished with thin-set tiles, rock panels, or marble. Recommended Applications: This system is suitable for use in hospital wards, flexible-sized office restrooms, and public restrooms.
