Company Introduction:
Kunshan Jinbaite Trading Co., Ltd. Offers calcined kaolin products and solutions to help optimize customer performance in the ceramic, latex paint, paper, plastics, rubber and pharmaceutical industries.
Kaolin, often referred to as "China clay, " is a hydrated aluminosilicate crystalline mineral that has undergone hydrothermal decomposition over millions of years to form granite rocks. The primary source of calcined kaolin ore is mainly in Shanxi Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China (coal producing region of North China), which belongs to sedimentary type. It is a hard kaolin rock generated by coal layer, which is formed by multiple grinding and high temperature calcination. After such processing, calcined kaolin molecules lose crystal water, showing a loose porous sheet structure, and its products have high whiteness and strong hiding power. Good fluidity, high oil absorption, good suspension, improve the electrical performance and other characteristics. Metakaolin is an amorphous white mineral additive of volcanic ash made by calcination of kaolin and used in cement-based products.
Calcined kaolin is a major component of the ceramic industry, and its high fusion temperature and white firing characteristics make it particularly suitable for the manufacture of sanitary ware, tableware, wall tiles and refractory materials.
Used in decorative paint formulations, it is an excellent natural opaque agent and a partial replacement for titanium dioxide, ideal when a high gloss is required.
In the construction industry, metakaolin and calcined kaolin are used to improve the mechanical properties, porosity and appearance of various types of concrete and cement. Kaolin provides an excellent alumina raw material for glass fiber production.
Calcined kaolin is also used as a versatile filler to improve the properties of adhesives and sealants, plastics and rubber.
Calcined kaolin is applied to wire and cable sheaths to improve the insulation and mechanical properties of low-voltage to high-voltage cables, semi-conductive cables and industrial cable sheaths.
