Features:

Screw and barrel in high-grade nitride hardened steel, screw diameter 25 and 30 mm and L/D ratio of 28 or other L/D
This screw gives a good mixing and homogenization of the resin with any eventual additives. The extruder can also be supplied with a plain screw which can be useful if the application is for checking gels in a resin, where minimum shear is normally required.
Other screw types custom made for specific resin types like EVOH, PA, TFE, etc
Water-cooling of feed section as well as the lower part of hopper funnel.
Large in-feed opening in barrel for efficient feeding of both pellets and free-flowing powders.
Screw speed infinitely variable from near zero up to max RPM depending on extruder size
Programmable frequency inverter for infinitely variable screw-speed and high torque even at low screw speeds. Digital readout of the screw RPM
Digital programmable set and readout temperature controllers for all barrel heating zones. The controllers are coupled to solid-state relays for accurate heat control and are equipped with auto-tuning as well as linear compensation for very precise temperature regulation over the entire working range.
Three heating zones on barrel, all with forced air-cooling. Each zone with multiple rows of copper fins for high cooling efficiency, coupled with oversized cooling fans mounted at the rear of the extruder barrel assembly. Large wattage on heaters coupled with the efficient cooling system ensures very fast heating and cooling of each zone.
The extruder can be equipped with a practical manual screen changer.
Full steel cover over the extruder barrel with air venting grid on top.
The entire extruder assembly is mounted in a sturdy single pillar with height adjustment to ensure a good alignment to the pancake die.
The PLC touch control panel will contain all other extruder controls, such as digital temperature controllers, start/stop buttons, digital RPM indicator, the pressure and melt temperature
The extruders are supplied with a sturdy base platform with lockable casters
The screws are also easy to remove, and the extruders are supplied with corresponding screw pushers which are inserted on the rear of the gear assembly.
With the optional weighing hopper system, the extruder inlet has a bypass valve for emptying the hopper.
The standard version has a max temperature of 350°C
