Hangzhou Boiler Works (HBW) is the largest research, development and production base for Waste Heat Boiler.
The first set of WHB for 110, 000 ton/year Ethylene Project was developed in 1970`s. After technical reforming, introducing design technology and co-operating with famous international companies, HBW has designed and manufactured various types of large scale WHB for Chinese market, which are over 1000 units and 60% of total output on the market.
Hangzhou Waste Heat Boiler Research Institute is affiliated with HBW, Which is in Charge of developing & planning, standards of WHB manufacturing of China. The institute has done a lot of research project, such as: Rotary Heat-Pipe Air Exchanger and Connection heat transfer of spiral -finned tubes and so on.
HBW has developed 20 series of WHB with more than 100 designs for Chemical, Metallurgical, and Construction Material, Machinery, Civil Engineering and Electric Power industry of China. Nearly every first WHB of different heat resources in China are produced by HBW.
The main achievement including:
* 40, 000~200, 000 ton/year sulphuric acid project (SAP) Designed & manufactured by HBW.
* 200, 000 ton/year(SAP) co-operated with SHG, Germany
* 280, 000ton/year (SAP) cooperated with F. W. company, Finland
* 40, 000Ton/year sulphuric acid Project cooperated with KHI, Japan
* Forced circulating coke-dry-quenching waste heat boiler designed and manufactured by HBW; Natural circulating coke-dry-quenching waste heat boiler cooperated with OSCHATZ co. Germany
* For 23~42MW(Single pressure, double pressure and three-pressure) Heat Recovery Steam Generator had been designed and manufactured by HBW, 100MW HRSG co-manufactured with NEM. B. V, Netherlands
* The WHB for 250ton converter furnace cooperated with OSCHATZ co. Germany, 210 Ton converter furnace cooperated with KHI, Japan
* The WHB for 150ton/day municipal refuse incinerator plant with the technology introduced from MHI, Japan
* The WHB for 35ton/hour Zinc flash smelting furnace designed and manufactured by HBW, for 10, 0000Ton/year copper flash smelting furnace cooperated with KHI, Japan
* The WHB for 15, 000Ton/year direct reduction iron plant cooperated with D. V. company, British.
