HID Conversion Kits (HH01)

HID is an abbreviation for High Intensity Discharge Lamp. It is composed of 2 ballasts and 2 lamps(as to H4 H/L one cable is necessary). It's working theory is different from convertional halogen lamps which use a heated tungsten filament. The HID xenon Lamp produces light by an electrical discharge between two electrodes. Xenon gas and metal halide salts are putted into the light emitting tube installed inside the HID Lamp. The electrons inside emitting tube collide with the metal atoms, using 23, 000V high voltage to produce light. The voltage between the two electrodes rises firstly from 12V to 23000V and keeps stable at 85V and keeps discharging at the same time by using the Xenon HID stabilizer system.
