Magnetic pots, also called cup magnets or round base magnet, consist of a magnet encased in metal, with its active magnet face exposed. Magnetic pots may have a hole, thread or screw in the center. This increases the intensity of the magnet's pull strength to three to four times that of a standard magnet of the same size.
