Being a hydrophilic surface-active compound, the mortar reinforcing agent helps improve viscosity and consistence of cement and provokes dispersion and plastification thereof, thus improving properties of cement mortar. Cement particles absorbing anions carried by the mortar reinforcing agent will contain a negative charge and further create polarity in the water around cement particles. The repulsion between ions thus prevents cement from approaching or condensing with neighboring ions, thus ensuring dispersion and separation. Absorption and diffusion capacity of cement particles is therefore improved, inhibiting generation of condensates in the cement mortar and increasing contact area of cement particles and water, thus ensuring full hydrolyzation and hydration of cement. In the process of diffusion of cement particles, free water surrounded by condensates is released and the net-like

condensed cement mortar turns into a sol structure, which causes greater elasticity and plasticity of mortar. Mortar mixed with the mortar reinforcing agent is excellent in fluidity, workability, durability, frost resistance and impermeability and thus strength, which reduces construction cost, saves labor force, improves efficiency, and ensures good quality of construction projects.

Being applicable to building materials such as commercial mortar and home-made mortar, the mortar reinforcing agent is fully and reasonably applied to a wide range of fields including construction, transportation, water conservancy and national defense.
