White Fused Alumina

Whiter fused alumina is fused by alumina powder by electric arcfurnace under high temperature. It has white colour and little higher hardness and lower tensibily comparing with brown fused alumina. The microhardness of the product is 2200-2300kg/mm2. The abrasive tools made by the material are suitable for fine grinding of high carbon steel, high speed steel and machine parts that have thin wall. The product can also be used as material of grinding, polishing; Moulding sand for precision casting, materials for coating spraying, medium body for chemical industry, materials for making special porcelain and high grade refractory materials.
