The cultural stones are divided into natural and man-made stone.
Natural stone is formed through the movements of the earth's crust for millions upon million of years. It is the natural artistic product. Its hardness and wear ability are between those of marble and granite. Natural stone includes slate, limestone, sandstone and quartzite etc...Besides, it is anti-moisture, acid-resisting, anti-weathering, fire-resistant, and cold-resistant. The natural stone can be easily pieced and cost less. Because natural stone have so many advantages, they are ideal building materials for the roof, the floor, the walls and for the decorating purpose.

Manmade stone is founded from inorganic materials adopting natural stone as raw materials. Due to capturing each fine vestige change of natural stone, manmade stone shows its lifelike natural appearance and feeling. Manmade stone is low density, easy to take shape, convenient to construct. It is widely used by architects for its characteristics of no poison, no mustiness, no fire and rich color.
