FRAME SPECIFICATION
UPRIGHT with hexagon-shaped or water-drop holes at 50mm, pitch is cold roll-formed into a C-section with returned flanges for exceptionally stronger frame load capacity.
VIKTOR frames are designed with a safety factor of 1:1.96 for yield on all published frame loading figures.

Bracing | : | Braces are C profiled and are bolted in a zigzag or M pattern at 600/1200mm c/c height. The lower and upper horizontal (straight) braces are fitted to ensure frame rigidity. Brace blocks are fitted into horizontal bracing memebers on single bracing point. |
Baseplate | : | Each frame is set up with two plastic/bolted baseplates which are precision manufactured to ensure loads are fully distributed to base plates. |
BEAM SPECIFICATION
Specially designed the boxed beam sections with purpose curved lips to ensure the two sections are interlocked together as well as capable of taking maximum loads with minimum deflection. The boxed sections are welded at each end to a three,four or five hooks steel connector, thus giving a far more secured and stronger fitting on the uprights, adjustable at 50mm pitch levels.
Special designed S-hook Safety Locks made of steel material complete the beam design to prevent accidental removal; this specially designed steel safety lock does not deform as easily as some other steel safety locks when pulled out for repositioning of beams.

PRE TREATMENT AND POWDER COATING

VIKTOR racking systems are subject to the highest standard of paint finish using the new pre-phosphate technology and drying ovens for RAL powder coating paint polymers. Our Racking and Shelving products are epoxy powder coated and oven baked for scratch and corrosion resistance. The coating is applied electro statically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a continuous protective film. The process involves the following steps:

The basis of any good coating is preparation. Parts are loaded on a powered overhead conveyor and transported to the pretreatment station.
Pretreatment: The pretreatment of the parts is essential to remove oils and greases. After cleaning and decreasing, parts are rinsed and dipped in a phosphate solution which favors the adhesion of the powder and forms a preventive film against corrosion. The steel is then washed with demineralized water that reduces the presence of chemical salts on its surface. Drying: The parts are conveyed to the dry-off oven to ensure all moisture entrapped in any recesses is thoroughly dried before the application of the finish coat. They are then conveyed to the electrostatic tunnel. Electrostatic Powder Application: Powder is applied electrostatically to make sure it wraps all the part. Oven Baking & Curing: To obtain the final solid, tough and abrasion resistant coating, the powder coated items are placed in an oven for 10 to 15 minutes and heated at 200° C. Under the influence of heat, the powder is fully cured. Inspection: The product passes an inspection check where any defects are detected and corrected. The powder coating is applied in a thickness of 50-80 microns to ensure full coverage of the steel.
