On January 31st, Zhongplated Technology announced that the company has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on the vertical continuous electroplating solution for copper grid heterojunction batteries with State Power Investment Corporation New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and State Power Investment Corporation New Energy Technology (Longgang) Co., Ltd.
According to the announcement, Zhongplated Technology will provide a prototype copper electroplating equipment to State Power Investment Corporation in July 2023 (depending on the construction progress of Party A's 2nd factory building) for verification and testing. Based on the requirements or test results of State Power Investment Corporation, the prototype copper electroplating equipment will be modified and optimized to ultimately form a mass production copper electroplating equipment plan. After the acceptance of the prototype by State Power Investment Corporation, the prototype shall be purchased in accordance with the provisions of this agreement, and the warranty period of the prototype shall be 12 months from the day after the acceptance.
In addition, on January 29th, Robotech signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with State Power Investment Corporation New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
Both parties will cooperate on the solution of VDI electroplating technology for copper gate heterojunction batteries, including the validation and mass production application of existing technologies or processes, the collaborative development of new technologies and processes, and the development and application of copper electroplating related processes and equipment.
