Suzhou Porcelain Insulator Works (SPIW) has been engaged in insulators manufacture for more than 60 years.
SPIW is one of the key enterprises under the Ministry of Machinery & Industry. With focus on R&D SPIW has built up a strong technical force which support the latest market demands. In 1994, SPIW was certified with ISO9001 Quality System by CCIB (China Commodity Inspection Bureau) and DNV ( Norske Veritas) as one of the first companies in China who had been certified at that time. One off shore operation in Jakarta Indonesia was set up in 1995 with a local company P. T. KSI. This allow SPIW to expand business in Southeast Asia. Now we are looking for further overseas cooperation opportunities.
Our product range covers most transmission & distribution porcelain insulators for both line & station applications. The products meet most of the standards, eg. IEC, ANSI, BS, AS and DIN etc. Various products have past international lab tests. The receive wide acceptance among international customers. Our reputation is based on product quality, ontime delivery and competitive prices.
