Roof Top Double Membrane Biogas Holder

The gasholder consists of two membranes. 1. The outer membrane (1) is the protection layer and is always under a low pressure through a blower. 2. The useful storage is the inner membrane (2). This membrane moves up and down in accordance to the filling level of the gas. 3. If the gas holder is mounted on tank, there is Nylon rope and safety net (3 & 4) which protect the inner membrane from falling into the tank. 4. Every gas holder will be calculated with its own specifications (e. G. Storage capacity, snow load, wind load, operating pressure, etc. ) and therefore have different membrane strengths. 5. The membrane is made of PVC coated polyester fabrics. 6. The inspection window (6) is used to check the biogas storage condition in inner membrane. 7. The blast blower (8) provides the essential pressure for the gas holder to handle the external forces like snow- and wind loads and produces the pressure for the gas system.
8. A pressure sensor indicates the pressure between outer membrane and inner membrane (7).
9. Safety valves (11) protect against over and under pressure.
