Product Description CPCCalcined Petroleum Coke Created through the precision process of placing high-quality raw 'green' petroleum coke into rotary kilns and subjecting it to intense heat. Heated meticulously to temperatures between 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit). These extreme temperatures effectively remove excess moisture, extract all remaining hydrocarbons, and transform the crystalline structure of the coke. The result is a denser, more electrically conductive product. Within hours, calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and transportation. It can then be stored in silos or directly loaded into shipping containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
