Precautions When Replacing the Print HeadCOMMODITY PARAMETER01
After receiving the print head purchased in our store, it is unnecessary and dangerous to use a syringe to inject water to test for clogging. Firstly, if the print head gets wet and you turn on the power without drying it, it may cause light burns or severe damage to the circuit board. Secondly, the print heads sold in our store have been strictly tested and checked by the factory before shipment, and they are shipped with protective liquid. Injecting water into the print head with a syringe not only washes away the protective liquid but also, due to the pressure from your hand, can cause air blockage in the print head, leading to no ink output.
02
The surface of the print head is very fragile and must not be bumped. Always protect it well. Its surface is an aluminum sheet, and the inner layer is coated with a crystal oscillator and very thin ink tubes. Any bump can cause it to dent, deform, or even break, rendering the print head useless.
03
When installing the print head, be careful and make sure to disconnect the power first and install it in place. After installation, gently push the carriage left and right to check for smoothness. Do not turn on the power until you are sure the print head is in place. If the print head is not in place, the carriage movement can easily break the print head, but you will feel it and can control the situation.
04
When connecting the cable, do not bring ink onto it and ensure good contact with the socket without touching the pins. Otherwise, it can cause short circuits and damage the print head.
05 The steel shaft should also be clean and smooth. You can use a tissue to stick some lubricating oil and wipe it. Do not directly add oil to the shaft, as excess oil will flow to the nozzle and cause damage.
06 After ensuring that the machinery and circuits are correct, it is time to check the water path. First, check if the ink cartridge has enough water; secondly, check if the small cleaning blade and ink pump are dirty.
07 The newly installed nozzle may contain air, so it will not print normally immediately. Only when the air in the nozzle is completely expelled can it print straight lines normally. First, you can use intermittent cleaning (cleaning twice at a time, then stopping for 30 minutes before cleaning again) multiple times. Excessive cleaning can cause the cleaning pump to accumulate ink, which will not only cause printing color mixing and ink leakage but also waste ink. Secondly, you can print more images to allow the nozzle to expel air during work. Thirdly, if the machine has already drawn out the waste ink tube, you can first disconnect the power, then use a syringe with a rubber tube to draw out the waste ink tube until 3-5ML of ink is drawn out, and then turn on the machine and use the machine's normal cleaning function once. This method artificially expels the air in the nozzle, but the side effect is that it can easily cause the cleaning pump to accumulate ink.
Special Reminder: There are many things that need attention when it comes to the nozzle, so non-professionals blindly replacing it can easily cause damage. Therefore, there is an industry rule that the nozzle is not covered by warranty. If you are not familiar with the machine, it is recommended to find a professional to replace the nozzle to avoid unnecessary loss and trouble!
Shipment Services:
1. Warehouse & Ship Booking: Services like warehouse booking, ship booking, warehouse entry, and container loading are provided within the agreed working days.
2. Special Freight Considerations: Some freight forwarders might not handle specific materials like ink. In such cases, alternative freight forwarders must be used, which could result in delays. The additional costs incurred would be the responsibility of the buyer.
3. Print Heads Transportation: For air shipments, print heads are shipped with the machine, whereas for sea shipments, the method is determined by the customer. Due to the risk of damage or loss during sea transit, it's advised to send them separately via express courier (like DHL).
4. Custom Clearance: Customers in certain regions or countries might need special customs clearance documents. Advance coordination with the sales agent is necessary to avoid delays.
5. Port Release: Any request for releasing the machine at the port should be made in a timely manner and can only be processed on working days.
After-Sales Services:
1. Insurance Claims: Should the machine arrive damaged, the company assists with insurance claims to help recover financial losses.
2. Warranty Exclusions: Damage caused by improper operation by the customer is not covered under warranty. The warranty does not cover consumables such as the ink system and print heads.
Service Commitment:
- Consumables such as print heads and the ink system are excluded from the warranty coverage.
- Buyers are encouraged to follow technician instructions carefully to avoid any potential damage due to misuse.
