Product Description

1. Introduction
Multi-channel integrated data acquisition module JMZX-XXSH is an extended measurement module launched by our company to cooperate with the host module of the automated test system. The computerized test system is realized
through one host module and several extension modules. Realize Real-time Measurement, data storage and upload of our company's multiple non-bus sensors. The expansion module adopts an industrial design,  with small and
lightweight,  Dustproof and Waterproof Features.
2. System composition
As shown in the figure above, a common automated test system consists of a host and multiple expansion modules. The expansion modules can be distributed in each monitoring section, and the power supply and data measurement of the expansion modules are controlled by the host.
3. Product Features
(1)Industrial portable design, mold production, compact and light, dustproof and waterproof.
(2)A variety of channel specifications can be selected, and the project site can be flexibly expanded and configured. One bus can be connected to multiple expansion modules in series to reduce the wiring length of the non-bus sensor.
(3)Automatically recognize the Instrument number and Model number of the company's Smart Inductance Modulation (IM) and Vibrating Wire (VW) sensor and intelligently calculate the physical quantity. Support measuring voltage
output type (DC0-5V) sensor, current output type sensor (4-20mA), resistance type sensor and domestic and
foreign VW  sensor(VW  +  3K Thermistor).
(4)Wide power supply, Low power design, standby current < 35mA, with the host module control power supply can achieve ultra-low power operation.
(5The Data acquisition speed is fast, and multiple expansion modules can be used to measure at the same time. The measurement method of Data polling greatly improves the data sampling frequency of the whole system.
(6)Vibrating Wire sensors use low voltage (Supply voltage) excitation to improve the service life of the sensor.
(7)Lightning protection design, good long-term stability, the sensor is completely isolated from the expansion module when standby, protecting the sensor and module.

5. Installation and measurement
(1)Power Sources Communication Interface:
Connect DC12-18V DC power supply. 12Vin is THE positive pole, GND is the negative electrode, A is RS485+, B is RS485-
(2)Indicator light: Power indicator light(Red), steady on after the module is powered on, Status indicator lamp(Green)indicates the operating state of the module.
Green Steady on: Data transmission
Green not bright: Standby
Green high-frequency flashing: The measurement data is being measured.
Green low-frequency flashing: Module self-checking
5.1. Module wiring instructions
(1) The wiring terminals of the module are pluggable. Only one row of wiring terminals can be connected directly. If there are two rows of wiring terminals, remove the upper row terminals and connect the cables to the upper row terminals, connect the lower row to the upper row terminal and connect the cable.
(2) Power port 12Vin of the module connects to the positive terminal of the DC power supply and the GND connects to the Negative electrode. Module communication port A connects to RS485 port A+, and B connects to RS485 port B-.
(3)The sensor interface is connected to a non-bus Smart sensor, and the sensor with 3 and 4 core wires sensor (except the sensor with inclination, soil moisture, etc.) is connected according to the following corresponding relationship: A - red line, B - yellow line, C - blue line, and D - green line.
(4)The sensor port is connected to the Hollow load cell. The channel that is initially connected serves as the first channel and
occupies  A  continuous channel connection according to the corresponding relationship. All ports A of the channel
occupied by a single sensor need to be connected by connecting cables.

(5)Sensor interface access voltage output inclinometer probe
Access biaxial (±30°) and single axis (±15°): A - yellow line, B - red line, C - blue line, D - green line, occupying 1 sensor channel
Access biaxial (±15°) : continuously occupy 2 sensor  channels,  the  corresponding relationship is as follows
Channel 1: A - Yellow power cable, B - Red power cable, C - Red signal cable, and D - Yellow signal cable.
Channel 2: A - Yellow power cable, B - Red power cable, C - Blue signal cable, and D - Green signal cable.
A and B of channels 1 and 2 are connected by connecting lines respectively, as shown in the figure below.
(6) Sensor interface access voltage output sensor (soil moisture meter, single point displacement meter, wind speed and direction, wind pressure sensor and other DC0-5V voltage signal output sensor)
Soil moisture meter, wind pressure sensor, and single point displacement meter occupy a channel:
A - GND (yellow line) B - Power supply + (red line) C - Signal output (blue line)
Wind speed and direction occupy a channel:
A - GND(yellow line) B - Power supply +(red line) C - Wind speed output (blue line) D - Wind direction output (green line)
Standard current sensor (4-20mA) occupies one channel B - Power supply + C - Current signal output
255 Ohm resistors (two 510 Ohm precision resistors) are required in parallel between ports C and A to convert the current signal into a voltage signal.
5.2. Software operation instruction
Basic operation course:
(1)Module self-test
This operation is performed when the module is installed for the first time or connected to a sensor when the module is replaced during measurement, when the sensor channel is replaced, or when a new sensor is replaced. Self-check is not required during normal measurement.
(2)Set channel sensor parameters
When the sensor is connected to the module for the first time, the module is replaced during measurement, the sensor channel is replaced, or a new sensor is replaced, if the sensor connected to the channel is non-intelligent, the channel sensor parameters
cannot be automatically identified by the module self-check, perform this operation. This operation should be performed after the self-check is complete. If you perform the self-check again after setting the sensor parameters, the parameters will be cleared and you need to set them again.
(3)Measure module data
Click Real-time Measurement on the debugging interface to realize real-time data acquisition of the module.

6. Attention
(1)When the system is deployed, the low-voltage power cable, communication cable, and sensor transmission line must not run parallel to the high-voltage line for a long distance. If it is unavoidable, the cable spacing is recommended to be greater than 0.5m.
(2)When the expansion module uses a DC power supply, the system layout and wiring scheme fully consider the current when the expansion module is working at the same time and the voltage drop generated by the current in the line, to ensure the stability of the system power supply, the DC power supply voltage can be appropriately increased to 18V and the power line with smaller line resistance value (larger wire core diameter) is used.
(3)When the sensor connects cables do not need to be powered off. The power communication port of the module is powered
on after turning off the power. When replacing a module, remove the terminal of the interface directly, label the channel number
of the cable or Green terminal, and connect the module to the original channel after the module is replaced.
