The Series of API Ring Groove Checker Inspect all types of API Ring seal Groove i. E RTJ's Groove. It is a modified form of vernier caliper. It can be used to check, OD, ID and pitch diameter of API ring seal grooves.
During RTJ's groove manufacturing, RTJ's groove checking is an important criteria. Our Caliper reduces all the headache of checking RTJ's groove while machining. It saves rework & rejection cost of RTJ's groove by giving direct accurate reading. During machine of RTJ's groove we can save machine

The Checking Process
1)Preset 20mm (Details as below "SET")
2)PCD(pitch circle diameter) =(OD+ID)/2
3) Actually OD=reading+(lettering on the bottom tip) mm;
Actually ID=reading-(lettering on the bottom tip) mm
We print a Value on the Bottom of the Tips.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SET/ABS--KEY

Do's and Don'ts
1. Before measurement, clean the surface of scale tape with clean and dry cloth.
2. Working conditions: Temperature: 5C° -40C° ; Relative humidity: Under 80%. Prevent liquid from wetting the scale tape.
3. Never apply any electric pressure on any part of the caliper and never use an electric lettering pen for fear of damaging its chip.
4. When no digits are dispayed or digits displayed twinkle, replace the battery.

FUNCTIONS AND USAGE OF THE BUTTONS
1. OFF/ZERO -------- Press this button to turn on power; When the power is on, press the button again, the preset value will be displayed; Press the button for 3 seconds to turn off the power.
2. SET ----------SETTING THE PRESET VALUE.
Closing the jaws, keep pressing button SET, the displayed digits will flash one by one, press button SET one or several times to make the first digit you needed displayed and flashing, release button SET, then keep pressing button SET again to make the next digit flash and then choose the needed digit. Repeat this operation until all the digits have been set, finally press button SET to make the letter "SET" disappeared from the screen, the presetting value is finished. To cancel the presetting value, you can set the presetting value to 0, it can be zero setting at any position.
