Fishtail auger bit is for foundation construction. The role of pilot bits is to loosen the soil at the tip of the auger and to guide and centre the drilling tool (auger, drilling bucket). They are fitted into pilot box with lock pin and can be replaced with standard tools. The main areas of application is medium hard to hard soil, and every tooth is positioned in optimum cutting geometry.
