The Headside campus is set among the Royal Palm treees on 70 lush acres on the bank of the Rongjiang River. In Jieyang, China. The production floor covers 20.000 square meters (215, 278 square feet)The name "Headside"is actually taken from the Mandarin words "Hai Sai"which means ocean sportsmen.
Headside produces designs for several past honorees of surfing Magazines"sShaper of the Year. " We are also receiving regular visits from some of the surboard word′s most recognizable names. It is not unusual for top-name shapers to build WCT PRO′s contest boards and North Shore quiver at Headside.
All Headside employees are given the option of company housing, and about 70%of our workers choose to live and raise their families on the Headside campus.
Our focus is n building word-class surfboard, creating a safe, healthy environment for our workers. And helping our cusomers to realize their product sourcing goals.
The Headside factory features an "all-star"team of experience, highly skilled craftsmen. George LV, the production manager has personally hand shaped over 25, 000surboards during his 15 year career. For Headside′s Department Leaders, George hand-picked themost talented, quality-minded craftsmen that he had worked with over the years. The department Leaders each average about 10 years surfboard building experience in large scale production. Together, they lead a team of about 100skilled craftsmen who have built more than 40.000quality surboards since Headside started in 2006.
Headside′s location is ideal in both climate and location. The warm climate stays somewhere between that of Hawaii. And of Southern California in autumn. This climate is ideal for fiberglass production. The factories location near the Shantou port on the south China Sea means convenient material sourcing and shipping of finished product.
Specializing in the highest quality hand-made polyerter -PU and epoxy-EPS construction. We use only the finest internationally sourced materials and state of the art equipment. But what sets Headside apart is our people! We are proud of our staff of world-class craftsmen who build the highest quality mass -produced surfoards anywhere.
