What is solar pool ionizer?
Solar ionizer, functions as a water purifier, for all types of pools, up to 35, 000 gallons. It utilizes a solar panel, to generate the electrical current, required to ionize copper and silver electrodes. The resulting copper and silver ions help control the growth of algae and other microorganisms. The unit floats in the pool and produces copper and silver ions, while being exposed to sunlight. Usually, within a period of about 24 hours, a sufficient ion level, for pool water purification, will be attained. The Ionizer will help control pool algae and will reduce the amount of chlorine required.

How does the solar pool ionizer work?
As soon as you place ionizer into your pool and the sun shines down on it, the energy from the sun activates the ionization of the anode. It simply floats in your pool. The solar panel converts sunlight into low voltage electricity which is completely harmless. The electrical current energises the anode below the waterline. The energised anode releases
Mineral ions into the water. The ions pierce the protective outer membrane of algae and bacteria cells, and the ionization process limits the growth of microorganisms (bacteria).

Safe Effective and Economical
It is totally safe and nontoxic, with absolutely no electrical shock hazard. Swimming with the unit in the water is perfectly normal, and eliminates the irritations odors, and bleaching associated with chlorine. Its ionized water mineral levels fall within EPA established drinking water standards and avoids the toxicity of highchemical concentrations. Additionally, the water remains clear and stable for extended periods because the minerals do not evaporate out. Unlike chlorine, hot summer conditions do not degrade the performance of the mineral ions; In fact, the hotter it is the better it works!
The SOLAR POOL IONIZER costs virtually nothing to power and operate. The only part requiring replacement is the sacrificial mineral electrode which will last approximately 1- 3 swimming seasons, and takes only a minute to change. Replacement cost is minimal.

Step of using solar water ionizer
Step 1 Verify that the pool conditions are good
Step 2 Introduce the solar water ionizer into the pool
Step 3 Observe that solar water pool purifier is floating in the pool
Step 4 After 12 hours, activate the cleaning system of the pool
After 24 hours, revise if all are working according to the specifications
Step 5-6 Remove every 15 days and do a cleaning of the electrode with the brush included

Cleaning & maintenance
Simply place the unit face down and remove the thumbscrew and plastic screen. Clean with a brush and rinse off.
