Indramat Servo Motor

INDRAMAT's MDD series servo motors have an encoder for commutation, rotor position and speed control. The encoder feedback device is specially designed for INDRAMAT and uses a proprietary communication protocol. The motor system has the advantage of fast start-up because the encoder stores motor data. The MDD motor is used in a wide variety of applications including machine tools (conventional metal cutting), textile machinery, printing presses, packaging machinery, robotics, handling equipment and conveying equipment. Thanks to the IP 65 housing, INDRAMAT's MDD series servo motors can be used in very harsh environments and can be installed in any orientation, the direction of their electrical connection can be changed.
