Heater Element

The industrial heaters of the first type, in the capacity of resistive fuel element, have electroconductive fabric, which is encased into a glass-fibre plastic shell. This fabric is weaved on a weaving loom and consisted of polymeric, cotton, carbonaceous and metalized threads, which composed a heating unite.

The industrial heaters of the second type, in the capacity of resistive fuel element, have hundreds carbon threads with certain geometry of the laying connected by a copper foil which composed a heating unit. It is encased into a glass-fibre plastic shell also.

Radically new construction of the woven electro-heating units, containing weaved electrical chain in the structure, has been created when industrial heaters of the first type was worked out. Designing of the construction of woven structure of an electro-heating unit is made proceeding from the properties of an electroconductive resistive thread, demanded electro physical and geometrical parameters of a heating element, with calculation of demanded quantity of feeding and distributive buses and dielectric barriers, the registration of their relative positioning, and textile characteristics of the fabric also. As a result the fabric containing multiple repeating heating units in the structure, in which the system of internal electrical switching is provide, is made on a weaving loom. The received cloth of an electro-heating fabric is cut out on separate heating units in which internal electrical switching of a heating unit is provide. Then it is pressed into a glass-fibre plastic shell.

The present construction of a fabric allows making industrial heaters with any supply voltage (9-380 V) with specific power from 40 to 3000 W/m2, the dimensions to 1000x14000 mm with placement into a glass-fibre plastic shell, and working at temperature to 120° C. The construction of the second type industrial heaters allows also using them with any supply voltage (9-380 V) with specific power from 40 to 6000 W/m2, the dimensions to 1000x1400 mm with placement into a glass-fibre plastic shell, working at temperature to 160° C.

Both types of glass-fibre plastic industrial heaters ensure uniform distribution of heat on a surface, eliminate a local overheat, allow to support constant working temperature at usage in an electrical chain thermostatic elements, have almost zero temperature coefficient of a resistance and high operation reliability and with other things being equal allow to save to 25 % of electrical power. Electro-heating glass-fibre plastic panels have 0 class of protection against defeat by an electric current. The field of application of our industrial heaters is extremely broad.
