PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
(1). High Refractoriness (≥1800ºC)
Active corundum sand is a kind of artificial granulated sand, the unique formula and special sintering process make corundum sand have high refractoriness. The high temperature resistance of corundum sand during casting can reduce the sand sticking on the holes, grooves and concentrated parts of hot joints. That make it easier to clean sand, so that the company can reduce the labor cost.

(2). Low Thermal Expansion
Active corundum sand has a low thermal expansion, which can suppress casting defects caused by thermal expansion of the sand during pouring process, such as sand inclusion, cracks and veins. Low thermal expansion can improve the dimensional accuracy of castings and improve the yield of castings.

(3). Low Angular Coefficient (≤1.1)
Active corundum sand is a kind of artificial sintered sand, it can effectively control the sand formation of semi-finished products. Good grain shape can effectively improve the filling rate, gas permeability and fluidity of sand mold, reduce the stomatal defect, improve the collapsibility, and make it easier to clean sand.
 
(4). High Sand Strength (1.5--2.5Mpa)
Active corundum sand has its own magnetized surface due to the unique production technology. The magnetized surface of active corundum sand makes the sand have the characteristics of high strength, low damage and high recovery rate, which can reduce the dust pollution and solid waste emission of casting enterprises, contributes to environmental protection.

(5). Low Bulk Density (1.50-1.65)
Compared with ceramsite sand, the bulk density of active corundum sand is 15% lower. Under the same weight, corundum sand produces 15% more sand cores than ceramsite sand. The density of active corundum sand is closer to silica sand, when mixing with silica sand, with the same ratio of resin, the strength of molding sand is higher.
