Hydrostatic Level Cells (HLC)

The magnetostrictive hydrostatic level gauge (hereinafter referred to as the "HLC") is a high-precision liquid level measuring device, specifically designed for accurately monitoring the subtle vertical displacement changes such as relative settlement, uplift, and inclination of buildings at multiple points. In practical applications, multiple containers of the HLC are connected to each other through liquid communication pipes. When the building settles, the liquid levels at each measuring point will change relatively accordingly, and this change will also cause the position of the floating ball on the liquid surface to change. By accurately measuring the displacement of the floating ball at each measuring point, the relative vertical displacement data between each measuring point can be accurately obtained. Furthermore, based on these data, an in-depth analysis of the settlement situation of the building can be carried out.

This HLC is widely applicable to the monitoring of vertical displacement and inclination of various engineering structures, including large storage tanks, dams, nuclear power plants, high-rise buildings, foundation pits, tunnels, bridges, subways, etc..


Regarding installation, the hydrostatic leveling system generally needs to be installed on survey piers at the same elevation on the object being measured, or on the contour lines of the walls of the object being measured. After the installation is completed, it can be connected to the main unit via wired or wireless communication methods. In this way, the automatic collection, transmission, and processing of monitoring data can be realized, which improves the efficiency and accuracy of the monitoring work.
