Features:
The wave band of UV-A is 320nm~400nm,it can make many material emitting visible light.
The wave band of UV-B is 275nm~320nm,it can help mineral metabolizing and vitamine D forming,both are good for health.
The wave band of UV-C is 200nm~275nm.It has been widely used in drinking water treatment,medical equipment,air furification,sewage treatment and so on.UV-C has been recognized as one of the best way for water furification.

12V DC Inverter:
The inverter is designed to supply the Cold Cathode Lamp with correct voltage. First, it will supply a starting voltage up to 900-950 vrms. Then the voltage will drop supplying the lamp a constant current of 4-9 mA at 40-50 KHz. 
 
 
CAUTION!!!!!

 
Germicidal Cold Cathode lamps are manufactured with quartz glass. The lamp is filled with gas and a very small amount of Mercury - less than 5mg per lamp. These lamps generate UV radiation at 254nm. There is also a small amount of Ozone generated by the residual radiation of 195nm and corona effect. The voltage supplied to activate the lamp is over 300V and is direct proportional with the lamp length. Longer lamps needs over 1000V.

SAFETY CONCERNS:
1. Although the amount of UV and Ozone generation is very small (UV is Max. 5.0mW/cm2), we recommend all suitable precaution to avoid eyes or skin exposure to UV radiation. It can produce serious damage to the eye, which may lead to temporary or permanent vision impairment. For this reason, the light produced by a germicidal lamp must be carefully shielded against both direct viewing and reflections and dispersed light that might be viewed.
2. Do not touch the glass/quartz with the bare hands.
3. Use appropriate protection, wires and insulated materials to avoid surge voltage from the lamp leads.
4.  Discard the lamps in accordance with safety cod requirements for materials containing Mercury.
5.  Take also all suitable requirements recommended by the government safety code to avoid a prolong inhalation of Ozone generated by the lamp.
