Electromagnetic Flowmeter for Slurries and Pastes
TC9000 is designed to measure the flow velocity, volume and mass flow of electrically conductive liquid media. Many advanced and unique technology is used for TC9000 such as 75Hz high frequency switching excitation, signal and noise separation, intelligent fuzzy empty pipe detection and damping wavelet transform, etc.
TC9000 is preferred to measure the flow of special slurry fluid such as pulp, mud, and coal-water slurry. With 75Hz high frequency switching excitation technology and proprietary slurry-noise reduction technology, TC9000 can accurately measure the flow of slurry fluid with good stability.
The key technology to measure slurry fluid is to remove the slurry-noise (at least five different characteristics) and recover real flow signal from complicated noise.
From theory analysis and lots of experiments data, we build mathematical models of slurry fluid flow signals. Based on the mathematical models, multiple digital filters, Wavelet transform and dynamic approximation of signal processing method, raw signals are processed and real flow signals are recovered.

Product Features
High Frequency Switching Excitation: Using 75Hz high frequency switching excitation method, extremely stable measurements can be realized for high concentration slurry fluid.
Empty Pipe Detection: Using intelligent fuzzy signal processing technology, and can be used directly without calibration.
Excitation Parameters: Excitation current and excitation frequency can be set via the menu.
Flow Totalizer: Bi-directional flow metering is supported, three built-in totalizer that can display positive flow, reverse flow and total flow.
Measuring Stability: By wavelet transform algorithm, both the stability of flow measurement and real-time response of flow change are realized. For a pulsating flow, force-stability function can be enabled to keep the pulsating flow stable.
Current Output: Using VLSI chip design, the output is stable and reliable, good interoperability, without the need for current zero point correction and the current full-scale correction.
LCD Module: Using large, backlit full dot matrix and wide temperature LCD to display a variety of messages up to three lines and is available in multiple languages. The working state of LCD can be real-time monitored to ensure reliable operation of the LCD.
Display Menu: High-resolution large-screen LCD display, operation menu has clear structure, intuitive display and easy to operate.
User-friendly Human Machine Interface: TC9000 features a large, high-contrast display which makes it possible to display mach information such as velocity, volume, frequency, pulse, current, etc. Operation is simple and convenient thanks to a user-friendly interface with four buttons. Not only does it look good, it's also extremely practical.
Simple Installation and Start-up: TC9000 is shipped with the main parameters completely set and can go into operation as soon as installation and wiring are completed.
Reliable Interface: Analog signals, digital signals and output signals completely isolated, input interface, output interface and power interface using overvoltage and surge protection designed to ensure electromagnetic flowmeter has stronger anti-interference ability.
Versatile Output and Communication Function: 4-20mA Current Output, Pulse Output, Frequency Output, RS-485, Hart.
High-Speed Pulse Output: The maximum rate for high speed applications such as short-duration batch processes is now 10000 pulses per second.
Alarm Messages: Excitation alarm, empty pipe alarm , Coil open, Upper & Lower Limit, etc.
High Accuracy: The standard accuracy is 0.5% of reading. Also available is an optional high accuracy calibration rated at 0.2% of reading. Every meter leaving the factory is wet calibrated on our calibration equipment which is traceable.
Simulation Output: The meter can stimulate flow display, current output, frequency output, pulse output.
Reliably Measurement under Very Demanding Conditions: For demanding applications in high temperatures, high pressures and high solids contents (up to 70%), TC9000 can offer a solution.
Wide Choice of Materials: Including electrode, flange, inner, grounding ring, etc.
Compact and Remote Versions: TC9000 is combined with signal converter and sensor. The signal converter is directly connected to the measuring sensor for compact version. If the measuring point is difficult to access or the ambient conditions prevent the use of the compact version, the remote version is preferred, in which the signal converter is available in a wall-mounted remote. The electronics plug-in module is identical, regardless of the remote version or compact variant, providing the same functionality and a standardized operating concept.

The problem maybe the low conductivity or wrong settings for the empty pipe alarm threshold value * Check if the signal wiring is correct * Check if the electrodes working normally * On the screen of empty pipe alarm, check if flow is ZERO, while observing the empty pipe ratio. Re-set up the empty pipe alarm threshold value if necessary. |
