Why Weldless End Launch Connectors?

RF coaxial connectors, especially those used in microwave and millimeter-wave applications, are crucial in high-speed digital and precision sensing technologies. As modern microwave and millimeter-wave systems become increasingly compact and interconnected, there is a growing demand for PCB interconnections that minimize signal losses and provide robust mechanical strength.

Conventional solutions, such as soldered coaxial interconnects for PCBs and custom RF connector harnesses, have limitations. Weldless end launch connectors offer an alternative approach that addresses these challenges.

Weldless end launch connectors are solder-free, relying on a mechanical method to secure the connection. The outer conductor is screw-locked, which provides several advantages over traditional connectors:
