Atiko Trans, Inc., is a Corporation duly organized and existing under by virtue of the laws of the Philippines, with principal office address at the 3rd floor, ECJ bldg., Real Street., Intramuros Manila.
The Company was established on September 27, 1997, initially for purposes of trucking business. We realized that the Philippines is in great need of in-land transportation and that the existing in-land transportation services have to be expanded and modernized to meet the increasing demand of the industry.
Having that vision, Atiko had initially acquired twenty (20) units of prime movers and twenty (20) units of chassis to cater our client needs.
On its second year operation, Atiko was given an opportunity to go into shipping agency business. CHENG LIE NAVIGATION CO., LTD., of Taipei, which caters to intra-asia market, appointed the company as their General Agent in the Philippines.
Because of our dedication in doing business, on March 04, 1998, Atiko had received another agency appointment by a world wide carrier, CHOYANG SHIPPING COMPANY LTD., a company based in Seoul, Korea. The business relationship lasted for more than three years until Cho Yang had closed its business operation on June 2001.
In year 2000, the management made a decision to separate the trucking business and let the company concentrate in shipping agency business. Now, the trucking business is being manned and operated by another affiliates of the group - the P & J Distribution System, Inc., The company is currently operating 32 units of prime movers and 60 units of chassis.
Since quality service is our commitment to our clients, Atiko will never stop upgrading its service to the clients and to its principals as well. With the impressive know-how of the people involved in the organization, the company is set to introduce new concepts and innovative services that would help us further enhance our credibility with our clients.
The company is now visible in the shipping industry thus paving the way of a new dimension in terms of expanding new lines of services, giving more alternative to importers and exporters.
Aside from Shipping Agency, the company is planning to go on total logistics to give our existing and future clients a complete and better services.
