Enhanced operability
Built on the success of the popular UP-897MD, the UP-X898MD features an enlarged LCD panel for displaying printer settings, selected paper types and consultation information. Intuitive joystick control supports fast menu navigation, while auto lock mode prevents accidental changes to printer settings.
Hard copy reference for print settings
For ease of reference, you can choose to print some of the settings (brightness, contrast, gamma, and sharpness) in the blank space of the paper.
Use widely available print media
Sony offers three optional high-quality, widely available A6 thermal print media to meet the needs of different applications. Choose from UPP-110HD, UPP-110S or UPP-110HG high-gloss papers that can be used to make glossy, long-lasting, close-to-photo prints.
Broad PC compatibility
For maximum flexibility, a wide range of PC drivers are available for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 (32/64 bit).

With the optional UPA-WU10 wireless printing system, cableless connections between the UP-X898MD and surgical endoscopes, ultrasound systems and other medical imaging devices are possible.
