Fixing of Rib lath sheets China
Fix the ribs so that the tips of the ribs are placed against the supporting background. The ribs of the thin plate should be at right angles to any supports. Make sure that the sheets overlap end to end at least 50 mm, the width is at least 25 mm, and the ribs are nested together.
Wood support
Each rib of Smart Craftsmen Rib Expanded Metal Lath is fixed to a wood support with plaster nails or staples. Make sure to use compatible corrosion-resistant fasteners, that is, do not use galvanized fasteners for stainless steel.
Metal support
Rib lath uses 1.63mm galvanized or stainless steel tie wires to secure each rib to a metal bracket. When connecting the ribs, the board should be heavy with the edge ribs, and the edge should be tied at the center of 150mm with a 1.22mm tie line.
Solid background
Smart Craftsmen Rib lath can be fixed on a solid background with a suitable fixator, which firmly fixes the ribs to the background. In the case of vertical installation of the plate, all rib fixing devices should be placed in the center of 600mm to ensure sufficient stability.
