The CPU 412-3H can be used with SIMATIC S7-400H and S7-400 F/FH. It enables the creation of fault-tolerant S7-400H systems. It can also be used in conjunction with the F runtime license for the S7-400F/FH fail-safe automation system. The built-in PROFIBUS-DP interface enables it to be directly connected to the PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus as a master station.

Combined MPI/PROFIBUS DP interface:
