The first step: purchase materials

Step 2: Level the shower base
 You will need a horizontal base shower, where you plan to install a steam shower enclosure. This is to ensure that the water can be drained properly. Use a spirit level to check if the bottom of the shower is level. If the floor is not level enough to install a steam shower room, you may need to lift the floor. In most cases, the shower base should be level enough to install.

Step 3: Attach the steam shower to the shower
 After leveling the base, stick the wall of the steam shower room to the base. Use self-tapping screws to fix the wall at the bottom of the existing shower room. After the housing base is in place, the side walls need to be attached. Seal the four corners of the steam shower room with silicone filler to prevent water leakage.

Step 4: Contact an electrician
 Ask a qualified electrician to come in and connect the colored wiring to the corresponding steam shower room wire. The electrician also needs to create a dedicated circuit for the steam shower room, which is a ground fault circuit breaker. This is necessary to prevent you from being shocked when using the steam shower. If you are not a qualified electrician, do not try this kind of wiring. The danger is injury or death.

Step 5: Install the fan
 Create a ventilation duct and fan similar to the setting for your clothes dryer. This step is necessary because if you do not have proper ventilation near the steam shower, it will be exposed to too much moisture, which can cause water damage, mold and mildew in the shower.

Step 6: Test the steam shower
 Before the first use, take a shower for 5 to 10 minutes. This will flush any chemical residues from the system, which the manufacturer uses to dispose of the system. Test controls to make sure they are installed correctly and working smoothly.
