Ultrasonic Parking Sensor Based Car Parking Guidance Management System for Garage Parking

1. Product Description

For Parking Lot Guidance System, Keytop provide different types of ultrasonic sensors:


a. Traditional Split Ultrasonic Sensor


Installed in the middle of every parking space to detect real-time parking status. With one-stop accessories include plastic seat,7P blue/white wire connection and RJ45 adapter plate for fast installation.

Support work alone with LED indicator without controller.

b. Forward Mounting Sensor (2 in 1 )

Installed in front of every parking space,forward mounting sensor is integrated with LED indicator as one unit. Using this sensor can save cables and labor costs at least $12 per space.It must work together with ZCU to set sensor height.


To use this forward mounting sensor,we must ensure there are not obstables(ceiling beam/sunlight/fire pipe) in front of the sensor that may cause false detection.


Key offers two types of communication ways for choice:


a. RS 485 communication: RS485 use shielded twisted pair to connect zone control unit in the carpark together in the terms of "hand in hand" and finally output to central controller. RS485 has good quality of anti-noise, long transmission distance and multi-station capabilities. The biggest advantage is the low costs of wire material and the disadvantage is that the communication speed is slower than that of LAN  transmission.



b. LAN communication: LAN use network cables to connect many zone control unit in the yard separately to network switches for parallel communication with very high rate, and the transmission speed is higher than RS485 communication.


You can choose the communication ways according to the carpark scope

---Carpark  with less than 2,500 parking lots, use RS485 Communication
---Carpark with 2,500 or  more parking lots, use LANCommunication
