1. Work Principle
When the boileris in the normal operation, the hot slag (850 degree or so) falling from cold gray bucket falls on the conveying belt of steel-belt slag conveying machineby the slag removing device at the bottom of boiler, and moves slowly with the conveying belt. With the help of negative pressure in the boiler, a certain amount of cold air enters into the boiler through the blowholes around the casing of strip-type transmission slag machine, and makes the hot slag on the conveying belt cooled gradually, and gradually re-burn the hot slag, to complete the heat exchange between cold air and high temperature slag, the cold air will absorb residual heatof slagand the re-fuel combustion heat, warming up to 400-500 degree and back into the furnace, the conveying of slag is finished by the steel-belt slag conveying machine, and enters into the next level conveying device after cooling down to below 200 degree.
2. Structure
Slag removing system consist ofhearth deslagging device, steel-belt slag conveying machine, crushing conveying equipment, slag storage warehouse, slag warehouse unloading mechanism, hydraulic system, electrical and control system.
1) Hearth Deslagging Device
The hearth deslagging device is installed between theboilerslag storage hopper and belt-type transmissionmachine. The hydraulic crusher is in its entrance, which consists of grills, extrusion head, box, drive hydrauliccylinder and camerasurveillance systems and other components, and can intercept and pre-break the large slag of 100mm or more, the slag blocks of more than100mmfirst falls onto the grills and are pre-cooled, andthe horizontal moving tooth extrusion head controlled by the video surveillance system break the slag blocks. The bi-parting shutoff door is at the entrance of the slag storage hopper, when the follow-up system is shut off for maintenance, the slag is stored temporarily in the bucket. The mechanical seal is designed between the shut-off door and hydrauliccrusherto meet therequirement of boilerx, y, zfor thermal expansion, to ensuresafe and reliableworking conditionsin theslag.
2) Steel-belt Slag Conveying Machine
Steel-belt slag conveying machine is the key equipment for dry type slagtransmissionsystem, and is installed at the entrance of the hearth slag removing device. This equipment mainly consists of thetransportbeltcomponent, drag chainscraper(cleaning chain) component and cabinetstructure. The steel-belt conveyor consists of thehigh temperatureresistantconveyor belt, roller, roller, laterallimitwheeldrive mechanism, tensionand otherparts. The scraper clearing part consists of high temperature resistant conveying belt, scraper, roller, drive mechanism, tensioning mechanism and othercomponents. The adjustable air inlets are at the outside of the box, there are two main air inlet at the top of the box, which can be adjusted as per the amount of slag. There are two access doors which are separately at the head and tail of the steel-belt conveying machine, which are used for maintenance for steel belt and clearing chain in a short time. The conveying belt and dragging scraper tensioningare hydraulictensioning, and they share of one set of pressure sourceand hydraulic breakers, andare witha storagetank. The steel-belt conveying machine receives and sends continuously high temperature hearth slag and make the hearth slag further burned and cooled during the conveying process. The conveying speed of steel belt can be adjusted as per the amount of the slag in the hearth.
