Fluid-Bed Dryer

The working principle of fluidized state is applied in the drying process as follows: The fluidized solid particle materials churn and suspend in hot air, getting in full contact with heat medium so as to enhance the heat-transfer intensity greatly.

The traditional type of fluid-bed dryer is called "Boilling bed dryer" which is used for drying incompact granules. In addition there are other types like Vibrated Fluid-Bed (Vibro fluid-bed), Agitated Fluid-Bed, Pulsating Fluid-Bed, Inner heating Fluid-Bed, and Spray Granulation Fluid-Bed, which expand greatly the application of fluid-bed technique to many kinds of materials including solid and liquid in a wide range of fields such as chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, foodstuff, feedstuff, manufacture of building materials, light industry, etc...

Main features:

1, Single unit dryer has a wide productive capacity with the bed area ranging from 0.1 square meter to 100 square meters. This is the outstanding advantage of Fluid-bed Dryer especially for large-scale continuous production.

2, A wide applicability to different materials, especially liquid materials with strong absorption of moisture and poor fluidity that is difficult for Spray Dryer to deal with.

Sub-types as follows:
Horizontal Multi-Ccompartment Fluid-Bed Dryer, suitable for incompact powder or particles.

Vibro Fluid-Bed Dryer, especially suitable for crystals or materials with strong thermo sensitivity.

Spray Granulation Fluid-Bed Dryer, especially applied to the drying and granulation of liquid materials.

Agitated Fluid-Bed Dryer, suitable for powder or particle materials with bad dispersity.

Inner Heating Fuid-Bed Dryer, to enhance greatly heat efficiency by the heat exchanger fixed inside.
