Intended Use

The IgG/IgM rapid detection kit for filariasis is a lateral flow immunoassay used to simultaneously detect and distinguish IgG and IgM anti lymphatic filariasis parasites in the human body (W. Bancrofti and B.) Such as serum, plasma, or whole blood. Used as a screening test to assist in the diagnosis of filarial infections (such as Banshee, Malassezia, etc.). Any sample that reacts with rapid detection of IgG/IgM in filariasis must be confirmed using other detection methods.

Detection Principle

IgM detection line (T1): Pre coated with anti human IgM antibody, capturing the silk worm IgM antibody colloidal gold complex in the sample, showing a purple red band.

IgG detection line (T2): Pre coated with silk worm antigen, capturing silk worm IgG antibodies in the sample, and then binding with colloidal gold labeled anti human IgG antibodies for color development.

Quality control line (C): Verify the effectiveness of the chromatography process.

Detection steps

1. Place the detection card and testing components at room temperature. Place the testing equipment on a clean and flat surface.

2. Inject the sample into the pipette dropper. Add 1 drop of sample (whole blood, plasma, or serum) into the sample well, and immediately add 1 drop (approximately 35-50 µ L) of sample diluent. Set a timer.

The results can be read within 15 minutes. Do not read the results after 15 minutes.
