Company Introduction:
Henan Yeda new materials Co., Ltd (stock code: 880088 ) is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production and sale of a variety of flexible wear resistant materials (e. g. Black corundum, otherwise known as black fused alumina). Its headquarter is located at Shengrun Industrial Park, liuzhai Town, Xinmi City, Henan Province, China. Yeda currently owns two production bases. One in zhengzhou, Henan province, and the other linfen, shanxi province. Together they yield over 30, 000 tons of black corundum section sand, size sand and micropowder per year, occupying over 60% of the domestic market.
Products
Black corundum:
Black corundum is a dark gray crystal obtained from the fusion of high iron bauxite in electric arc furnace. Its main components are α - Al2O3 and hercynite. It possesses good features as moderate hardness, strong tenacity, good self-sharpening, low grinding heat and less prone to surface burning, making it an excellent alternative abrasion-proof material.
Black silicon carbide:
Black silicon carbide is made through pyrolytic smelting of quartz sand and petroleum coke (or tar) in resistance furnace. It has stable chemical properties, high conductivity coefficient, low coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent wear-resistance, and is suitable for refractory and grinding applications.
Plated white corundum:
Plated white corundum is made by high temperature calcination and plating of white corundum. It retains the sharpness of ordinary white corundum, but with increased tenacity, no dark fringe inside, and improved crush resistance. Also after plating with metal salt and ceramics, it becomes more cohesive. Cutting disks made from it are sharper and more durable.
Calcined brown corundum:
Calcined brown corundum is made by processing traditional brown corundum at elevated temperature to separate out or evaporate the impurities inside. Afterwards, it becomes more pure, more rough at surface and therefore more hydrophilic. Also the microcracks generated by crushing bridged during the process, further improving its tenacity and strength.
