Product Description
The MEMF2000x series flow meter (MFM) is designed for real-time measurement and output of flow rates and other fluid-related information. The MFM features a local display, as well as analog output of 4-20mA and digital output of Modbus RTU RS485. The local display shows gas flow rate and cumulative flow, gas pressure (optional), and gas temperature. These information can be transmitted to the control system via analogue (flow rate only) and digital communication. CONSTRUCTION & PRINCIPLE:
MEMF2000x series intelligent mass flow meter is composed of sensor, body and signal processing module.
The sensor uses CMOS semiconductor technology to make a micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) structure. The sensor is designed according to the principle of thermal diffusion, the center of the chip is equipped with a heater, the upstream and downstream of the heater are respectively equipped with thermopile, and the thermopile is attached with a base temperature measuring body. There are cavities at the bottom of the heater and thermopile, which can efficiently detect the heat of the heater and the changes in the nearby temperature field. After the heating element introduces a constant current, a temperature field is formed in the vicinity of the heating element. When the medium is not flowing, the temperature difference between the upstream and downstream thermopile is zero. When the medium is flowing, the temperature difference between the upstream and downstream changes, and the value of the temperature difference is positively correlated with the mass flow rate. The fluid mass flow rate can be inversely calculated by measuring the temperature difference. The sensor uses the thermal diffusion principle to directly measure the mass flow, so there is basically no need for pressure and temperature compensation, and the application of the thermal diffusion principle is reduced to the millimeter micrometer scale, so the sensor has the characteristics of high accuracy, wide range, and high sensitivity.
The flow meter body is composed of a main flow channel, a measuring flow channel, a guide structure, and a filter structure. The design is verified by theoretical calculations, a large number of numerical simulations, laboratory experiments and on-site actual gas tests. Runner design meets economic, efficient, stable and accurate measurement goals. The flow path has small pressure loss, stable air flow and wide linear range.
The signal processing module is designed with a DSP with excellent performance and high reliability. Integrated digital adaptive signal processing technology can effectively suppress random errors. The module has the characteristics of fast response, high precision and good stability. Provide convenient metering on-site display, and provide RS485, 4-20mA, NBIOT and other digital and analog signal output and data remote transmission according to needs.
