PE-RT resin is made from the copolymerization of ethylene and octene, since the molecular design is used in the polymerization process, the location of copolymer on the main chain and the density of short branches are controlled, the PE-RT resin has superior heat resistance, lasting resistance to hydrostatic strength and excellent impact strength, without crosslinking in the production process.
Like PP or conventional PE material, PE-RT is also a kind of covalent material, the material surface cannot swell and dissolve. Then PE-RT cannot be bonded. But PE-RT has weldability, and also can get the best connection results by the clamping connection.
