Flow rack systems are a first-in, first-out inventory management method. Gravity flow rack is ideal for supplying pallet or carton loads of SKU's to sorting and distribution operations. You simply load a pallet into the back of the system and it flows to the front of the system on pallet rails with skate wheels.
Pallets always remain under full control, sometimes by use of intermittent brake wheels.
