Jiangsu General Science Technology Co. Ltd, or GS′, is one of the fastest growing companies in Hodo Group, a leading business group in Jiangsu province designated as one of the 120 pilot enterprises for deepening reforms by the State Council. The Group has such diversified businesses as tires, vehicles, real estate and garments.
GS′ sits around the beautiful Taihu Lake in Wuxi, very close to Shanghai. We are specialized on producing both radial and bias tires under some famous brands like QIMA, CTM, and TBB. The annual production capacity is now over 1.5 million bias tires, 6 million motorcycle tires, 3 million electric bicycle tires, 5 million inner tubes and 4 million all-steel radial tires. We are expanding the capacity to meet the growing demands.
All-steel radial tires are manufactured in accordance with various requirements of both domestic and overseas markets. We have developed different types of tires for long and medium-haul highway travel, short and medium-haul heavy-loading travel, and on & off road overloading travel. We are the first tire manufacturer in China that possesses both techniques of zero-degree breaker structure and four-breaker structure. The zero-degree structure is applied to short and medium-distance travel between 500km to 600km, especially to short overloading travel. The four-breaker structure is for long and medium-distance travel, especially for that of more than 800km continuously on the road. Meanwhile we design tire patterns for cross-country overloading vehicles, and vehicles on the land of mining featuring low speech and heavy loading.
We focus on research and development in order to stay ahead in a competitive fast-changing environment. In 2006, we invested to build a Tire Design & Development Center, our R & D base, and Tire Industry Information Center in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. The Center can design customized tires. We have world-class manufacturing equipment and strict quality-control systems, and have been accredited with ISO9001: 2000, DOT (code "95"), ECE-mark, and CCC certification. Our products are well known for safety, high mileage, high speed, good performance and low consumption of fuel. Today, we are supplying to OEM under our brands, and seizing a significant market share in the replacement market in China. Also we are exporting tires to many countries in Europe, Americas, Middle East and Asia.
