Use fork truck or factory's crane to transport the coil to the entrance coil car. The coil can be charged automatically by the equipment measuring the diameter and width according to the configuration of the unit or manually, which is to move the car to the front of the decoiler manually and measure the height by eyes and align, move the coil into the sleeve, align, position manually, and then the sleeve expands. After the coil has been charged, the car falls down, resets and waits for next coil.

The press roller of the decoiler presses down and the decoiler starts, the sleeves rotates, the head of the strip is transferred to the pinch rollers by switching the in feeding table and moved to the clipper by the pinch rollers. After cutting off the head, the strip is stitched with the end of the last coil. Normally one stitch is ok, but it need twice for the thinner strip in avoid of breaking. To enhance the strength it can insert some cleats into the gap of stitch when it is necessary. While stitching, pinching a hole about 30mm diameter in the middle of the strip so as to trace the junction in the succeeding processes. When changing coil, the entrance section reduces the speed automatically and then stop, cut off the head and end of the coils and change coils. At that time the operating section is still running in normal speed and the entrance loop releases. The strip after stitching is pressed by the press machine and enters into the tension unit.

The rollers of the press unit lifts and the entrance section speed up. The strip is moving at the speed excess to or equal to the operating section. The entrance section keeps the same speed with the operating section after the entrance loop has been filled. One extra decoiler can be added in order to compensate the long stay time due to stitching of strips. Another decoiler can prepare for the new coil when the decoiler work normally to avoid the stop because of the long time of charging and stitching.
