For synthesizing heterocycles (isoxazoles, pyrazoles, pyrimidines, pyridines etc. )

For preparation of metal acetylacetonates as catalysts

Production of anti-corrosion preparations (e. G. Potassium Sorbate)

Its peroxide is used as radical initiator for polymerisations

Uses: Mainly used analytic reagents to synthesize ointment. E. G. Used as refined solvent for Fluocinonide and its unguent, also it can be applicated as industrial electronic solvent.
