OCP ethylene - propylene rubber series were developed by Jilin Chemical Industrial Company Linited on the basis of the ethylene-propylene rubber equipment introduced from the Japanese Mitsui company with an annual production capacity of 20, 000-ton. At present it has five brands: J-0080\J-0050\J-0030\J-0020and J-0010. J-0080 has extraordinary capability to thicken lube oil, mainly for middle and low grade. J-0050 has strong thickening ability and good shear stability.

It mainly uses in producing middle and high grade lube oil. This brand was supported separately by the CD level diesel engine and gasoline machine oil gantry experiment from PetroChina Daqing R&D institute, Lanzhou lube oil R&D institute, and Dalian lube oil R&D institute, and passed PetroChina Company Limited's appraisal in May, 2001. J-0030 has outstanding shear stability and strong thickening ability, is used to modulate middle and high grade lube oil, passed the domestic related authoritative organization's test, its various index is better than that of the overseas similar product, it receives the consumer's welcome and affirmation. J-0020 and J-0010, its molecular weight are lower compared to J-0030, the shear stability is good, this products do not have to degrade, are used directly in the high grade lube oil.

PetroChina Dalian lube oil R&D institute's valuation: J-0010 has the similar shear stability with Dupont 0125, its thickening ability is bigger about 15% than Dupont 0125. J-0030 has the similar shear stability with Lubrizol 7065, its thickening ability is slightly better than Lubrizol 7065. Lubrizol 7065's shear stability is relatively good, but its thickening ability is worse about 20% than J-0010.
