Carbinox is perfect for applications where expensive thicker wall stainless steel tube is used. It is well suited to applications where the main material criteria is not structural. But where a low maintenance, non-corrosive, decorative finish is required. An outer skin of stainless steel over a core of carbon steel is a cost effective alternative that still look and perform in these applications as pure stainless steel tube would, but at a much reduced cost.
