Nucleotides are from RNA hydrolysis and manufacture four kinds of nucleotides: 5-GMP(guanosine-5-monophosphate), 5-CMP (cytidine-5-monophosphate), 5-AMP (adenosine-5-monophosphate), 5-UMP (uridine-5-monophosphate). These four kinds of nucleotides are separated and purified by the ion-exchange resin. The purity of each separated nucleotide alone is above 98%. These 5-nucleotides are mixed with appropriate proportion according to the demand of our clients. The products with the appearance of white crystallin powder have achieved the quality of the export standard, and export abroad in bulk.
The main purpose of 5 nucleotide mixture is as the additive of infant milk powder. Nucleotides are added into the infant milk powder in many developed countries such as Japan, USA, and some European countries. Some milk powders are imported and sold in China market, such as the Enfamil and Enfapro made in USA, Frisolac H made in Holland, Dumex and Dumex continued infant milk powder made in Denmark, Copenhagen Company.
By contrasting the nutritional composition between cow milk and human milk, we found that the content of nucleotides in human milk, occupying about 5%of the total nitrogen, is very high, while the content of nucleotides in cow milk is not only very low, but also the main content is orotic acid, one of precursor basic group. Adding nucleotide to infant milk powder can achieve the same effect as breeding human milk. It can make the ration of bifidobacteria and lactobacillus improve, the ratio of gram-negative bacteria depress, and accelerate the development and maturation of the intestines, stomach and immune system for infant. The animal experiments indicate that after the ablactation mice are bred with 0.8% nucleotides-containing food for two weeks, the length of their intestinal villi, and the content of the total albumen and DNA are all higher than those, which are not fed by nucleotides.
