Mechanical Seal Auxiliary System

After passing through filters, pressure reducing valves, flow limiting orifice plates, and flow meters, the buffer gas enters the sealing chamber to provide a nitrogen environment for the second stage seal. At the same time, the process fluid leaked from the first stage seal is diluted, and a small amount of process medium leaked from the first stage seal is blown into the leakage collection tank. If the medium is prone to vaporization or evaporation, it is blown together with nitrogen in the storage tank to the flare pipeline. The remaining liquid phase medium is collected in the collection tank. When the liquid level in the collection tank reaches the upper limit, the medium in the tank can be emptied through the discharge valve at the bottom of the collection tank.
This scheme is suitable for medium conditions that will condense at ambient temperature.
