    Ternary catalysis refers to the catalytic process of converting harmful gases such as CO, HC, and NOx from automotive exhaust into harmless carbon dioxide, water, and nitrogen through oxidation and reduction. It is mainly achieved through the use of a ternary catalyst. The carrier component of the ternary catalyst is a porous ceramic material installed in a specially designed exhaust pipe. It is called a carrier because it does not participate in the catalytic reaction itself, but is covered with a layer of platinum, rhodium, palladium, etc Precious metals and rare earth coatings. It is the most important external purification device installed in the automotive exhaust system.
   The three-way catalytic converter is a customized type with many sizes and specifications. The customer needs to provide specific dimensions (diameter, height, number of holes), installation model, and relative exhaust emission standards.
