The use of expansion sleeve makes the manufacture and installation of main engine parts simple. The machining of the shaft and hole for installing the expansion sleeve does not require high-precision manufacturing tolerance as the interference fit. When installing the expansion sleeve, it is unnecessary to heat, cool or pressurize the equipment, just tighten the bolts according to the required torque. The wheel hub can be easily adjusted to the required position on the shaft. Expansion sleeve can also be used to connect parts with poor weldability.

The expansion sleeve has long service life and high strength. The expansion sleeve is driven by friction, so there is no keyway weakening and relative movement of the connected parts, so it will not cause wear during operation.

When the expansion sleeve is overloaded, it will lose the connection function and can protect the equipment from damage.

The expansion sleeve connection can bear multiple loads, and its structure can be made into various styles. According to the installation load, multiple expansion sleeves can be used in series.

The expansion sleeve is easy to disassemble and has good interchangeability. Since the expansion sleeve can combine the hub with larger fit clearance, the bolt can be loosened during disassembly, so that the connected parts can be easily removed. When expanding and tightening, the contact surface is close to each other, not easy to rust and easy to disassemble.
